"STRENGTH IN TEAMWORK" SEMINAR

DATE/TIME:  Thursday, November 16, 2006, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Friday, November 17, 2006, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon

PLACE:  Holiday Inn Emerald Beach, 1201 North Shoreline, Corpus Christi, Texas

Change Dynamics CB is hosting a "Strength in Teamwork" Seminar for nonprofit and community organizations.  Interactive sessions will focus on developing individual and organizational capacity, working as effective teams, setting goals that are outcome-based and measurable, and developing resources for accomplishing community change.

Seminar presenters will lead participants through the newest in effective management and operational strategies, techniques and tools.  Tracks are suggested for board members, executive directors, operation and program administrators, staff and volunteers.

KEYNOTE PRESENTER:  Rose Mary Fry, Executive Director of the Texas Nonprofit Management Assistance Network will be a keynote presenter Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.  Rose Mary has tremendous experience in the nonprofit world, is very familiar with Coastal Bend trends, and regards many local service providers as long-time associates.  Her sessions will provide the newest information on nonprofit management for board members and directors. 

Session Facilitator/Trainers:

• Robin West, Founding Partner and Consultant, Change Dynamics CB - Robin will work with program directors and coordinators on identifying new trends in nonprofit management, building outcome-based programs, working with volunteers and "team" marketing.
• Jan Ayliffe, Partner and Consultant, Change Dynamics CB - Jan will work with board members, directors and staff on organizational communication, reviewing best practices in resource development and covering the basics of grant writing.
• Linda Hodge-Gambrill, Entertaining Training - Linda will work with directors, program coordinators and staff in teambuilding and awareness, effective partnerships and staff leadership.
• Blair McDavid, Blair McDavid Consulting - Blair will cover best practices for procuring goods and services, particularly focusing on government funding rules and regulations.

Large Organization?  Bring a team and strengthen interdepartmental collaboration.  Time will be provided over lunch and between sessions to regroup and think through how you might apply what you have learned.  Facilitators will be available on request.

Small Organization?  Come alone or with a partner and make new connections while learning new ways to collaborate, leverage and increase your capacity to make meaningful client and community change.

Continental breakfast and snacks provided both days.  Lunch Thursday on your own ... or we can "bring in" lunch ($10.00 per person) for teams or individuals who would like a little one-to-one with session presenters. 

Cost is $100 per person; $75 for teams of three or more.
